Great weekend!

What a great weekend we had! Saturday morning I went to a friend's house to learn more about how the things I keep in my house effect my child's health! I appreciated her taking the time to share as well as giving us some great samples and coupons...hey, who doesn't love a coupon?? :) Speaking of coupons, I am really looking forward to our July ladies meeting at church! It's about couponing/saving money for your family! It's one of the other things I am very passionate about, so I'm really excited. My sister, who already is an expert on this but always wants to learn more, is joining me and probably my best friend will come, too. It will be a fun time!

Saturday we had my parents over for lunch and then played a couple of games of Settlers. My winning streak has come to an end...I'm a little sad. BUT - my Dad is winning and if anyone else besides me won, I'd want it to be him! :) Sorry Mom and Phil - I'm too competitive with you two. :)

Saturday evening after they left I did my house cleaning. I know you burn calories cleaning house, but not enough...my heart rate doesn't get up to where it should be. So at about 9:15 I decided I couldn't end the day without burning some calories! I did "No More Trouble Zones." I hadn't done that DVD in a while - it was fun - it's a great one. I felt a lot better after doing that!

Sunday was a great day of church, relaxing and family time! I'm so thankful that Jake seems to be doing a little better and even had a good nap Sunday afternoon. I rested from working out, so I'm ready to get back to it today!
Goals for this week: I hope to run 3 times with 1 run being a longer run, the other 2 focusing on speed; workout DVD 3 times; and then my normal workout 2 times (I can't go today due to an eye checkup). Oh yes - and eat healthy all week!! I am incorporating some changes this week (told my hubby last night - he puts up with me so well!! - I'm lucky to have him!). :) We'll be eating even more fiber this week to help us stay fuller longer!
