I did my first two kickboxing classes this week and LOVED them!! Man do I love to kick and punch things (or even the air). It just feels good! And thanks to the awesome new gym I joined I get to bring a friend to almost every visit! So tonight Katie got to join me. It was great fun and a great workout!
I rested yesterday. It felt good after kickboxing and running on Monday and then my normal Tuesday workout at ASI. I was quite sore and really had no time, so a rest day was in order! (Rest from working out, that is. There really wasn't anything overly restful about it). :)
1 more week and 1 day until my next race...I cannot wait!! I just hope I can get through it. Maybe the humidity will go down a little before then (cross fingers)....but probably not.
I had a delicious dinner tonight. I didn't make a regular dinner for us tonight since it was a crazy day, so when I got home from class, I cooked some onions, tomatoes and black beans in a pan. Then I put it in a whole wheat wrap and cut up a peach to have with it. I packed the beans and veggies in so it was filling and very yummy!
I still need to post the "lentil sloppy joe" recipe that I made earlier this week. It was very tasty!

ReplyDeleteI am addicted after just 2 classes! :) Unfortunately the next one is not until next Wed.! Oh well. I'm going to try a new one called "Push" on Monday...we'll see! :)
